And the 2021 AC Marathon takes place this weekend. Also taking place a little closer to home this weekend is the Ventnor Block Party. Organizers promise tons of fun for the whole family to enjoy.

Ventnor Block Party 2021
The City originally planned on hosting a block party back in May. Unfortunately, COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time forced a postponement to October. So, instead of making it part of your springtime entertainment, you get to make it part of your fall entertainment.
Plan on enjoying an entire day of family-friendly fun. Beginning at 10 am, vendors set up shop all along Ventnor Ave selling everything from handmade jewelry to one-of-a-kind holiday decorations, home decor, and more. In fact, this might be a great opportunity to get started on your Christmas gift list. (It’s never too early.) The kids will not get bored at this event either, thanks to the dozens of activities set up specifically for them. Visit one of the food vendors on-site to make sure you keep your strength up for the day. Adults aged 21 and over may want to visit the beer garden to quench their thirst. Several non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for sale for everyone.
Live Music
In addition to the food and craft vendors, the City scheduled a special line-up of live musical acts to keep guests entertained throughout the day. They include Ricky Stevens (10:30 am to 11:30 am), the Bob Sterling Band (12 pm to 1 pm), and The Remedy (2 pm to 5 pm). They all perform on the main stage located at Troy Ave.
While masks are not mandatory, you are encouraged to wear them while walking around the venue. Social distancing is strongly encouraged as well. If you feel unwell, please stay home for your safety as well as that of others. Thank you and let’s party!
