Looking to get out of the City for the weekend this summer? Not interested in battling traffic on your own to do so? OurBus service recently announced a new NYC to Jersey Shore bus route that makes travel much easier, more comfortable, and a whole lot less stressful.
New NYC to Jersey Shore Bus Route Now Available
Transportation service OurBus opened up a new route that takes Manhattanites out of the stuffy City and out to the fresh, open, salty air of Jersey Shore beaches. This service runs every Thursday through Monday. The bus picks you up at 51st and Broadway in Manhattan. Then, it transports you directly to Galloway. From there, passengers can either stay in Galloway or board a luxury SUV or sprinter van. These take you to Absecon, Ventnor, or Margate. But if you choose Wildwood or Ocean City as your final destination, hop aboard their shuttle service. Each bus comes with reclining seats, complimentary water, free WiFi with charging ports, and a clean, sanitized restroom on board.
Cost of Transportation
It costs about $59 per person each way to travel this new NYC to Jersey Shore bus route. Visit the OurBus website to choose your departure and return dates and times. To keep things as simple as possible, no ticket printing is necessary. Just save your ticket to your phone and show it to your driver when you board. No muss, no fuss.
Jersey Shore Beach Badges
Don’t forget! When you reach Margate, Ventnor, or Longport at the end of your bus ride, you are going to need a Jersey Shore Beach Badge. As of June 1st, badges went up to $20 per badge. Find out how to get your badge before you head out to play at the beach here. Badge inspectors will be at each beach making sure everyone aged 12 or older has theirs on them between now and the end of Labor Day weekend.
