What do you call it when you host over 100 events in over 50 venues over a span of three weeks in one great state? NJ North 2 Shore. For the very first time, organizers put together a one-of-a-kind event that showcases the best talent to come out of New Jersey in music, comedy, film, and technology. And it all starts in our own backyard…Atlantic City.
NJ North 2 Shore Festival
Earlier this year, Governor Murphy announced that the state was putting together a festival unlike any other our state has seen before. The inspiration for the NJ North 2 Shore Festival came from the extremely popular South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, TX every year. But New Jersey talent cannot be harnessed in one location. Nor could it be fully experienced in just a few days. Instead, our festival starts in Atlantic City before moving on to Asbury Park and finally finishing up in Newark.
Atlantic City Events
The Drop Kick Murphys start things off with a concert at Bader Field from 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, June 3rd. From then through June 11th, other greats like latin singer Ricardo Arjona, comedian Joe Clair, DJ KJ Butta, grammy winners Christopher Cross and Colby Caillat, grammy nominated Gavin DeGraw, the Legendary Blue Notes, and boardwalk artist Mark Ostow perform live. Also, come watch local artists create a beautiful mural at Tennessee Avenue. Enjoy fine art created by talented artists at the Noyes Art Garage on the Stockton University campus. Union Hall Arts showcases its Skate AC Art Show. Learn more about how to put your health first at the Whole Health Pavilion at Stockton University. And listen to spoken word poetry performed live at Atlantic City Tours. The Atlantic City stop of North 2 Shore ends with Pridechella on June 11th at the Anchor Rock Club.

Some events are offered for free to the public. Others require the purchase of a ticket.
