E-Waste Reminder
Are you hosting a viewing party for this weekend’s big game? Do part of your preparations include upgrading that old TV to something better? Before you toss your old television set into the garbage, keep this in mind. NJ law forbids local waste disposal companies from picking up electronic waste at their regularly scheduled curbside routes. This includes anyone on the ACUA’s regular schedule. While Margate and Longport residents may schedule a special pick-up once a month through the ACUA, several other places allow free drop-off of electronics any time of the month. Please click here to learn more about electronics recycling at the Jersey Shore. Whether you’re a Chiefs fan or a 49ers fan, we all need to be fans of Mother Earth. As such, we must do our best to take care of her as often as possible.
