Search Jersey Shore homes for saleNovember 24th is Margate Small Business Saturday 2018. On this day, we support small businesses in the Margate area. Santa arrives on a City firetruck to visit with all the good little boys and girls. For our hearing impaired youngsters, this Santa uses ASL fluently, too. He doesn’t want to leave anyone out of the holiday cheer. Anchor Arts offers free arts and crafts activities for the kids. When your children build up an appetite, take them to Bocca’s for a free slice of pizza and soda.

Margate Fill the Cruiser Toy Drive 2018

After his arrival in town, Santa lands at the City ballfields. The Phillie Phanatic joins Santa for pictures with fans. While you’re there, bring new unwrapped toys for children of all ages for the Fill the Cruiser event. From 6 pm to 9 pm, our first responders will be on hand to accept these donations for local girls and boys in need. A local DJ plays music in the background while guests ride trains, look at sparkling light displays, get their faces painted, and much more. And you definitely won’t want to miss the Menorah raising or Christmas tree lighting later in the evening!

Atlantic City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Atlantic City’s historic Claridge Hotel hosts their popular annual Winter Wonderland Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 1st. Grab your family and friends for a drive up the coast to Brighton Park. Festivities start at 5 pm. Take a picture with Santa. Stay warm with a nice cup of hot cocoa. Decorate your own Christmas cookies. Then, at 7 pm, watch the tree erupt in thousands of twinkling lights as a live choir sings traditional holiday music. While admission may be free, the hotel accepts unwrapped gifts as donations for the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City.
