Entrance Fee: Gently Used Winter Coat
Margate PD Trunk or Treat 2023
The Margate Police Department partnered up with Tighe Middle School to host a safe and sane way for families to enjoy trick-or-treating with their Trunk or Treat event. All they ask in return is that you bring a gently used winter coat to donate to their coat drive. That simple donation gives you access to musical entertainment from a DJ, fun Halloween-themed activities, live performances by Leslie’s Dance Studio Dancers, and, of course, lots of candy! In addition to all of that, organizers put together the Tighe Haunted Hallway. For just $5 per person, take a magical, mystical, spooky walk down the hallway. Proceeds benefit the middle school’s 8th grade graduation festivities. Don’t worry about freaking out the little ones, though. This hallway is kid-friendly for pre-schoolers on up. Enjoy!
Margate Boo Fest 2023
Originally, the Margate Boo Fest was scheduled for last Friday. But Mother Nature had other plans. So, if you already purchased tickets to Boo Fest, you can use them tonight! Before the Trunk or Treat event, take the kiddos over to the baseball fields at Sigmund Rimm Recreation Complex. They have a dunk tank, a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, hayrides, and more. Plus, there’s a friendly Monster Mile race for the kids. The first three finishers in each category receive a prize.
Ventnor City Halloween Fest 2023
Not quite ready to put those costumes away for the weekend? Well, you’re in luck. On Saturday, October 28th, Ventnor City celebrates the holiday with its annual Halloween Fest. From 10 am to 4 pm, the street just outside of the Ventnor Public Library closes down to automotive traffic and opens up to some spooooooky fun (of the family-friendly variety). Visit the arts and crafts vendors. Try your hand at some pumpkin decorating. Watch the costume parade at noon. Then fill your belly with some delicious food courtesy of one of the food trucks on-site.
