Living in Somers Point
Somers Point is an attractive growing community southwest of Atlantic City. The city is in one of the best locations to enjoy many recreational activities. The Great Egg Harbor River bay is very popular with water lovers. It is well known for its fine restaurants, marinas and boating.

Somers Point Schools
Somers Point schools are served by the Somers Point Public Schools and Mainland Regional High School. Somers Point Public Schools serve k-8 students, while Mainland Regional High School serves 9-12 students.
There are two elementary schools and one elementary/middle school in the Somers Point Public Schools. Mainland Regional High School is located in Linwood, but serves Somers Point, Northfield and Linwood students. Private schools in the area include St. Joseph Regional School, a Catholic elementary school, operated by the Diocese of Camden.
Somers Point Public Schools are noted for a diverse population that excels in academics and other school activities such as art, music and sports programs.
