Living in Northfield
Northfield is located in Atlantic County and is a suburban community conveniently located for commuting. Atlantic City is only 20 minutes away, Philadelphia is a 1 1/2 hour drive, New York is approximately 2 1/2 hours from the city and Washington D.C. is about 3 hours via Cape May Ferry.
Since homes are just off the ocean, there are plenty of water activities to take advantage of. Visitors and residents enjoy all types of fishing: from deep sea fishing to pier fishing to surf fishing. Other popular activities include boating, parasailing, swimming, water-skiing and more.
Non-water activities are plentiful, too. Just minutes away you’ll find berry picking, golf courses, hiking trails and parks, lakes and rivers and a winery. It also has many great comedy clubs and blues bars for great entertainment. There are restaurants offering a variety of cuisine and prices for every taste-bud. If shopping is what you like, you’ll enjoy the many shopping spots.
