Living an active Jersey Shore lifestyle comes easy with so many marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, and cycling events scheduled this year. But if you want to wind down a little with some great music, fine wine, fabulous food, and perhaps even a boat show, then you’re in luck. Atlantic City events are poppin’ over the next few weeks. And it all starts off with a sip of wine and a Titanic diva.
Atlantic City Events
Wines from Around the World Festival
Start your weekend off with a bit of the vino at the Wines from Around the World Festival on February 22nd. From 2 pm to 6 pm, the Tropicana hosts dozens of vintners from all over the world in their Grand Exhibition Center. Sample more than 100 different wines before you decide which ones to purchase (by the bottle or by the case). In addition to the wine, several food vendors provide delicious bites for purchase at the event. Cheezy and the Crackers perform live throughout the afternoon. Tickets cost $35 in advance or $40 at the door. All designated drivers get in for just $10 each (and thank you for providing this valuable service to your buddies). You must be at least 21 years old to attend. Bring a valid photo ID. They will be checking these.
Celine Dion
That’s right. THE Titanic diva herself, Celion Dion, stops by Atlantic City tomorrow night (February 22nd) as part of her Courage World Tour. She performs live one night only at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. Tickets range from $95 to $225 each. I suggest you purchase your tickets online now. She’s sure to sell out before the concert begins.
