Atlantic City Air Show 2021
The USAF Thunderbirds return to the Jersey Shore to headline this year’s Atlantic City Air Show. They also brought along some of their friends to show off their skills. The event kicks off with a streamer drop from the Army Golden Knights. Then, they do a flag jump while the National Anthem plays. After that, watch an F-16, KC-135, EC-130J, C-17, and Composite Wing jets as they perform their individual fly-bys. In addition to the dozens of jets, visitors will see helicopters (civilian and military) as well as emergency service aircraft as they fly overhead. The whole show culminates in an amazing performance by the world-renowned USAF Thunderbirds.
How to Prepare for the Show
Slather on the sunscreen. Even on overcast days, UV rays get through and cause damage to unprotected skin. Check the weather report before you head out. Wear lighter clothing when it is hot. Feel free to bring snacks and lots of water to stay hydrated. Sunglasses keep the sun’s glare out of your eyes so you can see the air show better. Also, binoculars help you get a closer view of the action from wherever you end up watching it. If you decide to see the show from the beach, blankets, towels, umbrellas, and beach chairs make it a much more enjoyable experience. Finally, listen to the play-by-play of the Atlantic City Air Show from your radio. Just make sure it is tuned to WPG 95.5 FM or 1450 AM.
